verbinden<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le Chemin de la Libert\u00e9 \u2013 The Freedom Trail (\u2018Het Vrijheidspad\u2019) is een GTA-route die sinds 2022 wordt aangeboden door het \u2018Maison de la Randonn\u00e9e\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>De tocht van 68 km start in Mardasson. Hij doorkruist de gemeenten Vaux-sur-S\u00fbre, Sainte-Ode en Bertogne om terug te keren naar Bastenaken. Hij verbindt de gedenkplaatsen die zijn opgericht ter ere van de soldaten en burgers die zijn omgekomen tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Het was een door de Duitsers omsingeld gebied waar zeer hevig werd gevochten.<\/p>\n<p>Deze <strong>wandelroute<\/strong> is ook toegankelijk voor <strong>mountainbikers<\/strong>.<br \/>\nDe route is bewegwijzerd met de geelwitte markeringen van de GTA en start bij het Bastogne War Museum.<\/p>\n<p>Belangrijk: het is niet mogelijk om langs de route te bivakkeren (er zijn geen bivakgebieden
